Hello, and thank you for looking at my résumé. Since I can remember, I have had an interest in education and wanted to have something to do with the educational process. Up to this point in my life, I have been an Industrial Arts teacher, a technology teacher, distance learning coordinator and an instructional technology coordinator.

From June of 2011 through October 2013, I was an employee at Berrien RESA, in Southwest Michigan, where I was the Distance Learning Coordinator and more recently as the Educational Technology Coordinator. Some of my duties are below.
Support Berrien RESA education sites in classroom technology use including iPads and interactive projectors
Lead cross curriculum professional development sessions/days
Organize, host, present at the Southwest Michigan iPad Conference
Help teachers implement technology into the classroom and meet METS standards
Collaborate with other regional Instructional Technologists in statewide projects (21 Things for iPads, Blended Learning in the Classroom)
Research, develop, and advertise two-way interactive programming for regional schools
Develop and maintain the Berrien RESA Distance Learning Website
Support video conferencing activities designed for local schools
Participate with the Instructional Services Team on various joint initiatives, including student activities.
Industrial Arts Teacher, Hartford Public Schools - August 2006-June 2011
Before joining Berrien RESA, I was an Industrial Arts teacher in Hartford, Michigan for five years, from August 2006 until June of 2011, when the program was closed due to budget cuts. Some of my duties as a teacher are below.
Instruct six different courses in the industrial arts field consisting of: Computer Aided Design, Woods Technology 1 and 2, Basic Woods Technology, Residential Maintenance, and Industrial Technology
Implement school rules and classroom discipline
Maintain machines in the school shop
Plan for activities in all six industrial arts courses
Oversee and implement online learning in industrial arts courses

Participate in the regional and state industrial arts fair
